How it started

More Cats Please was founded by Meg Cummins- serial entrepreneur, Shark Tank alumn, and graphic designer to Fortune 10 companies. As an Oxford trained cat behaviorist and cat mom of 5, it was inevitable this company would happen. Since this is a startup, I'm clearly the one writing this so I'm switching to first person.

Every company I've built was just a way for me to help fund cat shelters. I'd daydream about having a company that's all about cats - where I could talk about cats, read about cats, help save cats, meet new cats, and make cats happy all day, every day. I'd complain about how irresponsible most cat products were, how horrible the designs were, and how companies would pretend to help cats, only to find out it was just a marketing gimmick. I can't tell you how many times I've asked "has whoever made this even met a cat?"

I'm that girl that goes to a cute site like Anthropologie and types "cat" in the search bar. My designer brain drools over the limitless amount of cute dog brands and then gets grumpy about how overlooked and misunderstood cats and their owners are by the industry. After logging a few years of whining, I decided it was time to find my people and make something just for us that actually builds a better future for cats. I know y'all are out there!

I want to build a community and a platform for change. I equate success with how many cats I've helped. If you feel the same way, please send me an email so we can be besties.
