What Makes It Magical

Milo’s Magic isn’t just catnip—it’s a revelation.
Handcrafted in small batches, it’s the first luxury catnip ever made.

  • Human-grade catnip — Yes, human-grade. We only source our catnip from certified organic, family-run farms in the U.S.

  • Intact leaves and buds — Gently harvested by hand at peak season, then slowly sun-dried to preserve the essential oils.

  • No pesticides. No fillers. No pulverized dust.

  • Wild-harvested gall fruit — Grown high in the Anhui mountains, naturally dried, and ground by us just before blending for unmatched potency.

  • Fresh ground valerian root — Another layer of sensory delight for cats who “don’t respond to catnip.” (They’ll respond to this.)

Each tin is packed by hand, sealed in an airtight, light-tight, double-lidded tea tin—not a plastic bag. This isn’t shelf fodder for big-box pet stores. This is a fine herb, stored and treated like one.

Why It’s Limited

  • We follow the natural growing seasons. When the harvest is done, so is the batch.

  • Every leaf is hand-plucked and processed with care. No shortcuts, ever. That means taking the slow route for quality and not caring about mass-production.

  • Small family farms = small quantities. That’s the trade-off for quality you can smell. As we grow, we hope to help families grow their farms as well!

How to Use It (Like a Pro)

  • Store in a cool, dark place (your cat will try to find it).

  • Before use, turn the tin upside down and gently shake to redistribute the fresh-ground Matatabi powder.

  • A little goes a long way. Start with a pinch.

  • For toy infusions: stash a toy in the tin for 2–3 days to absorb the oils

  • Wait 2–3 days between sessions to keep the effect strong.

This Isn’t for Everyone.

If you’re used to bulk tubs of stale dust from industrial farms, Milo’s Magic will feel excessive. But if you treat your cat like family—and believe their joy is worth it—this is for you.

  • Each tin holds approximately 72 servings.

    If you tried a sample packet that comes with our scratching boards, the packet was 1 serving, so this can is a whoolle lot of servings.

    Our catnip is MUCH more potent than anything else you've tried, so start small and see how your kitty reacts.

    • Before use, turn the tin upside down and gently shake to redistribute the fresh-ground Matatabi and Valerian root powders. (They're heavier than the catnip and will naturally settle at the bottom of the can over time)
    • A little goes a long way. Start with a pinch. Rub the catnip with your fingers as you sprinkle it for your kitty. This will crush some of the leaves and buds, which is what releases the magical goodness they love.
    • For toy infusions: stash a toy in the tin for 2–3 days to absorb the oils
    • Wait 2–3 days between sessions to keep the effect strong.
    • Sprinkle on one of our cardboard cat scratchers or a toy (we recommend a kicker style toy)- your cat is going to get feisty and want something to direct their energy at!

  • NOTE: Cats under 1 yr old may not respond to catnip.

    Statistically, the odds of your cat not responding to our catnip blend are very low. But, all kitties are unique, and we love that about them :)

    If your kitty has no response to the catnip, you can donate it to a cat shelter in your area. Just email us your donation receipt and we'll give you a full refund.

    Bonus points if you can send a pic or video of happy shelter cats so we can share it and give a shout out to your shelter!

  • Every kitty reacts differently. The short answer is about half an hour. Then you'll need to wait a couple of days before their next serving since all cats become temporarily immune.

    Of our 5 cats, they all react completely different. Some get super lovey and cuddly, while others get feisty and have catnip zoomies. Some cats even drool!

    The duration can be anywhere from 15 minutes to hours (some people have even reported their kitty's mood improving for a couple of days). Let us know how your kitty reacts so we can add it to our data!
